A sneak preview of our latest treatment plant in the Netherlands
The set-up of the Grundfos BioBooster solution is in full swing at the Hoogesteger production site in the Netherlands.
Grundfos BioBooster’s implementation manager Peter Fisher and project manager Lars Poulsen are satisfied with the accelerated progress and the positive cooperation with Hoogesteger personnel. They predict that the treatment plant will start operations by mid spring as initially planned.
The treatment plant is designed to process the wastewater accumulating from the production of juice at the Hoogesteger production plant in the town of Zwanenburg, which has a daily flow of 300 m3 wastewater. The Grundfos BioBooster treatment plant is located at a designated area in Hoogesteger’s parking lot! All containers arrived in the course of a single February day and are now coated with a climate shell to withstand harsh weather conditions. The preliminary start-up of the treatment plant has been successful and all test-related operations are running smoothly.
In the picture, you can see the actual Grundfos BioBooster container set-up at Hoogesteger during the setup phase earlier this month.
The solution in brief:
- Biological pre-treatment plant
- Flow: 300 m3/day
- 990 kg COD removed per day
- 48 PBRs – Pressurised Biofilm Reactors
